1. Information We Collect

Account Users: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password via Firebase Authentication. We do not collect your name unless you provide it in your profile.

Guest Users: No personal information is collected. All data is stored locally on your device using SQLite (mobile) or browser storage (web) and is never transmitted to any server.

Fitness Data: Workout logs, exercise history, personal records, and body measurements you enter are stored locally on your device. For account users, this data is synced to Firebase Realtime Database solely to enable cross-device access.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to:

• Authenticate your identity and secure your account
• Store and synchronize your fitness data across devices
• Enable you to track your workouts, progress, and personal records

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the app's core functionality.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your fitness data is never disclosed to advertisers, data brokers, or any external organizations.

We use Firebase (Google LLC) as our backend infrastructure. Firebase's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion:

• Your Firebase account and all associated cloud data are permanently deleted
• All locally stored data is wiped from your device

Guest Mode data is stored only on your device. You can clear it at any time via Settings → Clear App Data.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Passwords are never stored by us — authentication is handled entirely by Firebase Authentication. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

6. Children's Privacy

Gym Tracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
